Privacy & Cookies
How your information is used when you contact Damp Surveyor West Yorkshire.
Who we are
Damp Surveyor West Yorkshire is run by Ben Horne, 120 Drub Lane, Cleckheaton, BD19 4BU. Email ben@dswy.co.uk or call 07948 732 611 with any questions about your information.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, phone number, postcode, and, if you give them, your email address and message. We use these only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a survey, and send your report and invoice. A copy of each website enquiry is also sent to our website administrator so they can check the form is working; they do not use it for anything else.
The website keeps a short technical log of form submissions (date, outcome, the domain part of the email address and the IP address) to help block spam. It does not store names, phone numbers or messages.
We keep enquiry and survey records only as long as we need them, and for any period required by law for accounting purposes. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use tracking or advertising tools. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them.
If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
